- You should have a good math background. You might not use it on one
- project, but you will eventually need it. The amount of math depends on your
- degree. Most computer science degrees usually require (at least in my
- experience) 2 semesters (or 3 quarters) of calculus. Keep in mind the
- prerequistes to get to your first Calc course: College Algebra, Trig,
- Analytic Geometry (may be combined with Trig). You might also, as in my case,
- need a Probability and Statistics course.

- I can't really tell you much about salary as I am active duty
- military, so my pay isn't a good guide to use.
